I was already using Prototype and couldn't switch to jQuery; I've been using Mike Nelson's Highcharts Prototype Adapter.
It seems showLoading() and hideLoading don't quite work; hideLoading fails to re-activate mouse action (no tooltips, no hover over data points, no resizing). Is it likely that upgrading to 2.0.0 will break the prototype adapter? Is it likely that such an upgrade could even help?
Or is there something else I'm missing entirely? I don't want to just have a "loading" chart that's destroyed before being replaced with real data if I can help it...
