Images Show For Split Second On Page Load

I used the highslide editor to create a gallery.

The gallery shows one thumbnail and when clicked will cycle through multiple images in my gallery.

Everything works great....EXCEPT...

when I load the page the images apparently load and are visible full-size for a split second before the page finishes loading.

How can I get the images to NOT show when page loads?
