Can Highmaps read and display raster (TIF) files?

I have a couple of raster data in form of for example TIF files which I would like to load into Highcharts (for example Nightlights, Earthquake intensity zones, Emissions per km2). Is that possible?

Thanks for any hints.

Hi, luftikus143!

Can you tell us, what exactly do you want to do with your .tif file? Do you want to load images or data from that file?

Best regards!

For a TIF, it would be the image. For another form of raster data, it could be the data (in form of categories for example).

Annual Precipitation or Temperature would be loaded as an (coloured) image.
Earthquake Intensity Zones, Types of Wetlands would be categorized (different classes).

luftikus143,

Unfortunately for this moment, Highcharts cannot read tif files. You can load images, but it will not be interactive. The best data format for Highmaps is SVG.
