I think I discovered a bug in HighStock (last version from github). The code is http://jsfiddle.net/Nilbelec/z78hj/.
To reproduce:
1.- Click in an empty area in the chart to add a new scatter point.
2.- Move the mouse over the line series and you┬┤ll receive a bunch of "point.MouseOver is not a function" errors in the web console in FF, and the tooltip wont appear.

Seems that in last update in master branch fixed the problem! (I was using stock2 branch)
