loading div content doesn't work in IE6

I'm using a content loader script <loading an external html page (div) into the index (div) page> which works great for static images, and html content. I tried loading the Highslide content "example-slideshow-controlbar.html" which shows a couple of images. It works fine in FireFox 2.0, but for some reason it won't load when viewed in IE 6.0. Can anyone help me figure out why? By itself, the file looks fine in IE 6.0, but when I load it into the div (viewing it in IE6.0) it doesn't display. I tried everything. Any thoughts?
