Hello Mr Neutron Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate your replies and they've been very helpful for me to achieve getting three different gallery types to work on a single page. Having done that, I can now proceed with putting together the content. So, may I bid you adieu for the time being ...
I've had a look at using wrapperClassNames and this seems to be the way to implement different gallery types on a single page. I've created one in highslide.css to contain the style attridutes specific to one of the gallery types I'm using. However, the image anchor contains a reference to the varia...
Dear Mr Neutron Thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions, I do appreciate your help. I must apologise for not acknowledging your reply to a previous post of mine. All I can say is that in my acute embarrassment at your obvious displeasure at my posting my question in the wrong forum,...
I’ve been going through some of the forum postings, so I appreciate that Highslide might, to some, seem to be antiquated by now, but for me it has the benefits that it’s free and it does pretty much what I need. The website I’m developing is not commercial, is not designed, nor indeed appropriate, f...
I have a number of single images which, when clicked on, display a larger version with a semi-transparent close button overlay as in the bare-bones example. This works fine. However, I'm now trying to add several galleries to the same page using the samples from http://www.roadrash.no/highslide-js-s...
I've been experimenting. The problem was caused by a position=relative qualifier on the text surrounding the image, and a negative margin on the image to remove the white space that appeared between the image and text. By removing the relative part of the text style, and setting a positive RH margin...
using HTML tables for layout has been frowned upon for about 20 years  But I'd looked at various options for captioning images, and it's still being suggested ... However, I tried this : <figure style="float: left; width: 225px; text-align: center; font-style: italic; font-size: smaller;...
I'm a bit new to all this HTML stuff. I have some web pages I'm working on where the text has a 7.5% left-hand margin. To allow images on the page to be captioned, images are placed in tables, 1 column by two rows, with the image in the top cell and a caption in the bottom cell. The table is aligned...
OK, I've worked out what to put in index.htm, and I can now get inline content workiung in a iframe, but (a) I can't get the content to appear where I want it to, and (b) I can't see how to do pop-ups for several words in a apargraph - I'm trying to get a pop-up to appear when a user clicks on a wor...
I've tinkered a little, and the iframe now works, although I would like the frame to be a little wider. However, the slideshow's buttons now appear underneath the images
OK, now my picture galleries work, but when I now try to pop up an iframe, there's no controls at the top Is this because I'm using the custom controls? If so, how do I now get the controls at the top of the iframe?
