Re: X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Had a look at 1. The graph in the link that I sent you, which was not fixed 2. The jsfiddle example. Again, I never wanted only the years to show, but I observed like you were saying that Chrome didn't understand the datetime format. So I removed the formatting itself, but kept the "datetime&qu...

Re: X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Ok, So we are getting somewhere. You are saying that cloud is confused, but in reality it is Chrome that is confused. The other browsers work. Do you treat Chrome differently from other browsers? Also, you claim that this is a text format, but Excel understands this format as a date, and this is ind...

Re: X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Well, that's what the interface gave me in "Preview options".
I thought maybe that could be reused...

Sending you the csv-file...

Re: X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Hi Rafal,

Not entirely clear to me why you couldn't use my data, the data is included at the bottom of the configuration, isn't it?
Also, I have no way of establishing whether your graph makes sense, since all the "x's" are 1970... Are these really dates?

Re: Annotations in Cloud

Ok, But the sole reason for using the Cloud is that the people creating the graphs are not tech savvy, which means that coding JavaScript to achieve annotations is really not an option. That means that a developer needs to be involved for every annotation. Why is there a structure to add annotations...

Annotations in Cloud

Does annotations work in Highcharts Cloud?

The Tour the France example does not show any annotations on the graph in Cloud, although the annotations structure is filled out.

Re: X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Still doesn't work, it is as if Chrome doesn't understand that this is a date. Can I send you my full json-config to an e-mail address?

X-axis with date behaving differently in Chrome

Please check: https://cloud.highcharts.com/show/S__QgK2mu On my computer: For Firefox and Edge the x-axis shows up nicely with only year numbers. In Chrome, full dates are displayed and creates chaos. I have a Norwegian localization setting, which seems to be picked up by Chrome somehow, but ignored...

Re: Marker Trouble

Probably belongs in a separate post, but: Will version 3.0 be backwards compatible with what we have now? Any launch date you can tell us about? Need to know whether I should spend a lot of time on this version, or go directly for version 3.

Scatter plots in Cloud

Hi guys, I have a requirement where I'd like to create a chart similar to the attachment. The dataset is of the format: Country,Trade,GDP US,92835934,89034834 Germany,938749,983484 etc. However, whenever I upload the dataset, the scatter plot assumes that the first column is the x-axis, while what I...

Re: Marker Trouble

Mind you, I am looking at "Marker" under Series, not plot options. The reason is that I have two series, each showing at a different y-axis, and assumed I needed to set the marker options there. Now I am in a Catch22 situation because the marker options for one of the series are invalid. C...

Re: Marker Trouble

Well the advanced tab gives you a simple string input field (is that actually a bug?). How do I insert the correct JSON into that?
I would prefer to use the interface rather than instructing my less advanced users to use Javascript to create the chart.

Marker Trouble

Hi, I have a problem with the user interface in setting the marker settings for the series in the user interface. While I have read up on the documentation, so that I understand that the marker option should be a JSON object, I don't understand how to insert that JSON object in the input field given...
