Installation on server, error Could not load file or assembl

Postby jcquen » Wed Jan 10, 2018 4:11 pm

Hello,

First sorry to post here but i can't find a topic for the .NET wrapper!
I downloaded, tested and include in our MVC5 web site the .NET chart version, on local computer it is working fine but when i upload it to server it doesn't work, everything else is working except page where HighChart is present, for information i have of course uploaded the dll(Highcharts.Web.Mvc.dll) in bin folder...
The message received is:
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Mvc, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
...
Source Error:
Line 137: <hr />
Line 138:
Line 139: @(Html.Highsoft().Highcharts(
Line 140: new Highcharts
Line 141: {

Any idea on how to solve this?
Regards,
Jean-claude Quenaon

hi jcquen,

I forwarded the topic directly to .NET wrapper developer, so don't worry - you will receive it for sure, but please wait for it.

Best regards!

Dear,

I solved the problem, it was due to compilation settings. In my MVC i removed the Roslyn version and it seems your DLL needs roslyn...
Now it is working, great charts :wink:

Have a nice day
