how change the time transition in Highslide pop up ?

Postby vincy79 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 4:01 pm

Hi, I've chosen "fade" transition for Highslide pop-up. I'd like to extend the duration time of this transition. How can I do ? is it possibile ? I'd like it runs more smoothly (not so quickly as it appears now). I want to change the time during the transition not that of the image!
This is my website where you can see how it appears now.

I use it in my joomla 1.5- This is my CSS Highslide pop up. What can I add/change to get what I want?

hs.graphicsDir = \''.$popupPath.'/graphics/\';
hs.align = \'center\';
hs.transitions = [\'expand\', \'fade\'];
hs.fadeInOut = true;
hs.dimmingOpacity = 0.8;
hs.wrapperClassName = \'borderless floating-caption\';
hs.captionEval = \'this.a.title\';
hs.marginLeft = 100; // make room for the thumbstrip
hs.marginBottom = 80 // make room for the controls and the floating caption
hs.numberPosition = \'caption\';
hs.lang.number = \'%1/%2\';
hs.showCredits = false;

The "duration" settings have nothing to do with how long the image is visible (that's determined by "interval" in addSlideShow). The duration settings all control how quickly the expansion from the thumbnail occurs, how quickly the collapse back to the thumbnail occurs, or how long the fade from one image to the next takes.

In your case, you seem to be mixing two incompatible things. Your choices for transitions are either:

hs.transitions=['expand', 'crossfade'];

or

hs.transitions=['fade'];

In the first case, setting hs.expandDuration and hs.restoreDuration will affect how long it takes for the thumbnail to expand to the full image, and then to collapse back to the thumbnail, and hs.transitionDuration will affect how long the fade between images takes.

In the second case, hs.transitionDuration would have no effect. If you're doing just "fade," then only hs.expandDuration and hs.restoreDuration have any effect.
